30/6 Teen Driver Training Course
RoadWise America (formerly Road Ready) offers convenient training times for teen drivers, including weekly classes during the school year and daily classes during the summer. The course includes eight sessions (3 hours, 45 minutes each) of class plus three, two-hour behind-the-wheel drives. Students may schedule make-ups for missed classes if needed.

Interactive Classroom
The 30-hour RoadWise classroom features highly interactive and engaging lessons
that utilize wireless testing devices, simulation, high-impact videos, dynamic group discussions and hands-on activities. Students focus on scanning skills including visual search, speed adjustment, hazard identification and analyzing risk. They also learn
about car maintenance and complete a special project requiring that they
“purchase” a car, shop for insurance and plan a trip.

Behind the Wheel
Upon completion of the RoadWise classroom, the student will transfer what they have learned behind the wheel of a real car in three, two-hour sessions. Our late model vehicles are specially equipped with second brakes and instructor mirrors.

Parent Involvement
We emphasize parent involvement as the key to reducing student driver risks.
Parents are asked to attend a mini-session where they learn important action
steps in each phase of the student learning cycle.

State Certification
Our state certification qualifies you for a 10% or more insurance premium discount
for a period of three years, plus a $150 state tax credit.
